In this role, you will have the ability to make a direct impact by leading the overall marketing and branding strategies for Concur?s free travel and expense consumer offerings. You?ll set the marketing objectives to meet revenue goals, guide the marketing vision to grow sustainably and focus on growing our free consumer base in the US and International markets. This role will require a high level of strategic capability in order to lead in-country personnel, as our product and service offerings continue to grow. We have the opportunity, you have the talent. Develops consumer marketing and branding objectives, strategies, plans and budget for Concur?s free consumer products.
Leads, evaluates, and constantly assesses all marketing programs to scale/drive the businesses successfully.
Provide vision and leadership for consumer marketing efforts and communicate/ensure this is understood by key internal and external constituents.
Partners with other members of marketing team to improve and enhance the overall consumer experience for TripIt as brought to life through all marketing efforts.
Owns and directs internal and external teams for online marketing acquisition (mobile emphasis, but to include web, and SEO).
Executes marketing partnerships and promotions to grow and expand consumer offerings with brands aligned with our positioning.
Partners with head of PR/social to drive positive awareness, media coverage, and WOM among key influencers, analysts, and the media through media and social channels.
Partners with head of Pro marketing & engagement to optimize pro sales and penetration.
Partners with direct marketing to ensure on-boarding and our customer experience is relevant, personalized, brand & business building.
Develops 360 degree analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and improves cross-company understanding of the health of our free consumer offerings.
Owns on-going marketing performance analysis and optimization. Executes NPS analysis.
Owns on-going customer insight and analysis for our free consumer products ? feeding this back into all marketing and organizational efforts to ensure the company remains in tune with consumer needs, pain points, and satisfaction
Collaborates with R&D and Product Marketing/Management to develop a product roadmap that will delight consumers and drive innovation
Partners and supports ad sales organization as needed on large partner promotions and opportunities.
Continually refine/update all standard messaging, positioning, and collateral.
Responsible for guiding and developing brand look and feel across all marketing touchpoints (email, social, web, etc.)
Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Education, Experience & Training required:
Bachelor?s degree required, MBA preferred
10+ years in Marketing, Product/Program Management, Product Marketing roles ? experience in Business Development, Sales or Strategic Planning a plus
7+ years Management experience
Relevant experience in consumer marketing at a fast growing internet or cutting edge technology service company
Track record of building and driving successful marketing strategies, plans, and results
Ability to pass a background check
