Director of Content Strategy EPAM Systems
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, the Director of Content Strategy will be a superb content lead & communicator, energetic and savvy at handling multiple groups of internal stakeholders along with guiding the larger team with vision, tactical implementation and high quality deliverables. Content solutions must encompass evolving digital mediums and include deliverables such as interactive documents, mobile applications, interactive demos, social interactions, video, web properties and more. The Director of Content Strategy will lead and mentor a team of Content Strategists and Copywriters, as well as help build the team as Content needs grow.
This practice leader will feed and nurture a deep expertise in the content discipline and proactively share knowledge to benefit both agency cohorts and clients alike. They will deliver value by pushing beyond traditional solutions to create innovative content experiences. They will be strategic in understanding requirements as well as audience profiles and to have the ability to make intelligent and informed format and channel distribution recommendations based on seamless lifestyle integration.
Substantial experience (10+ years) writing and editing for multimedia;
At least 5 years? experience leading, developing and executing content strategy;
Familiarity working with channel distribution and media planning;
Experienced with user flow, user interaction and content organization;
Appreciation for design and an aptitude for visual solutions;
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills;
Expertise in using analytics to inform/drive content priorities.
Work closely with Client Services to uncover new business opportunities and translate business goals into meaningful content strategy and deliverables;
Be experienced in contributing to or leading the creation of key content deliverables including content audits, content gap analyses, content mapping exercises, content strategy documents, as well as providing interface copy for wireframes and design comps;
Hire, train and supervise departmental staff;
Must be an exceptional writer, and effectively manage writers, design and external vendors/freelancers for content development;
Guide & manage editorial & content planning from initial strategy and solutions to implementation and post-launch optimization;
Assess user needs, content requirements, sources and distribution channels;
Shape ideas based on user and business insights while being sensitive to both the brand and the client's internal capabilities;
Investigate the granular in order to use the details to inspire broader strategic conclusions;
Guide clients in developing new content and optimizing legacy content;
Contribute to the development of new business materials, presentations and other agency communication vehicles to distribute content information;
Work effectively as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team;
Must be a linchpin in the strategic process and attack problems creatively.
