Overview:
The Director of Corporate Marketing Communications is responsible for leading Teradici?s overall market and ecosystem brand development and positioning. This position will develop and implement Teradici?s communication strategy and plans to achieve:
Continued evolution, positioning, and awareness for the PCoIP brand with end users, analysts, influencers, and key ecosystem partners.
The establishment of an online community focused on PCoIP and building Teradici?s online presence into a industry "hub" that attracts visitors through search engines, through the blogosphere, and through the social media sites.
Development of a world class, comprehensive marketing communications function and capability for the company.
Functional responsibility includes: brand development and awareness, press and analyst relations, online marketing, end-user awareness and benefit building, partner awareness programs, lead generation, events, corporate collateral, web site and search management, and all other marketing communications activities.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in targeted B2B communications, technology brand development and positioning, online marketing, marcom and reach out programs to industry financial and market analysts, media and online influencers. Experience working with an ecosystem of Tier 1 enterprise customers and OEMs is a definite asset. Experience in the VDI or remote desktop space would be a definite asset.
Responsibilities:
Lead targeted B2B outbound marketing and brand positioning.Ensure that the customer understands all the capabilities of Teradici and how they can benefit the account.
Manage the development of the Teradici and PCoIP brands.
Develop and implement a Strategic Communication plan.
Work with product management to understand business requirements and articulate go-to-market strategy, positioning and messaging for new products.
Develop and implement a post-purchase end user follow-up call program.
Lead content creation for website, marketing materials and collateral for launch, customer communications and sales team.
Manage positioning, messaging and product/website content.
Oversee outbound messaging to customer base, demand and lead generation, sales tools, Google AdWords program, search engine optimization, viral/guerrilla marketing programs and managing Public Relations/Advertising firms and overall budget.
Build a library of technical papers, case studies, competitive comparison papers for use by internal and external partners.
Execute marketing campaigns to drive demand for Partner solutions.
Develop and implement online strategies with key strategic partners and OEM customers to forward the positioning of PCoIP technology with end customers and channel partners.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferably in business, marketing, or communications
A technical degree and/or several years of experience in the technology/IT sector also required
7+ years? related experience managing the communications function
Demonstrated track record of developing and implementing B2B and online strategies with tangible results in a Technology marketing role
Demonstrated track record of developing and implementing of end-to-end B2B demand generation programs
Demonstrated track record of brand strategy development and implementation in the technology space with Enterprise IT industry experience preferred
Excellent communication skills, including polished executive presentation skills
Knowledge of enterprise, software, networking and computing markets
Knowledge of desktop virtualization is an asset
Passion for technology and a strong aptitude for business strategy
Availability and willingness to travel as required
