Operations is the lifeblood of everything we do at Handybook. From recruiting and managing our vast provider network, to ensuring service level quality across cities and verticals, efficient operations are vital to delivering an excellent experience to our users.
We're now looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial, analytics-driven leader to manage our growing ops team.
The Director of Operations is responsible for end-to-end management - this includes provider recruiting, training, operations, process improvement, metrics tracking, and scaling. As a leader, you are responsible for managing a team of 5 - 10 operations associates, who in turn recruit and manage hundreds of providers and ensure service standards are maintained. You will also need to ensure our team scales effectively to meet constantly growing demand.
You will be leading the operations team to:
-- Grow the service provider base across the country
-- Streamline the provider recruiting and training process
-- Undertake initiatives to improve service quality
-- Manage supplies distribution and logistics
-- Evaluate procedures, policies, and systems to ensure efficient operations
-- Analyze and summarize data and trends, paying special attention to key metrics
Experience and Skills
-- 4 year college degree
-- 5+ years of work experience in either an operational role or in a fast-paced analytical role (consulting, i-banking etc.)
-- 2+ years managing a team
-- Strong verbal and written communication, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
-- Ability to define problems, analyze data, and draw insights
-- Ideal candidate will be already leading a team, and should have demonstrated the ability to drive results and foster an environment
