Overview:
The Director of Distribution Sales is part of Teradici?s Channel team, responsible for driving indirect revenue goals and for overseeing all aspects of Teradici?s relationships with its worldwide distributors. Teradici is seeking a talented, hands-on sales leader that will identify, recruit, on-board and manage distribution partners. To be successful in this role, you will need to maintain excellent working relationships between the distribution channel, Teradici?s direct sales team and its SI/VAR partners. As the Director of Distribution Sales, you will be responsible for building and maintaining distribution programs, marketing, financial incentives, legal agreements and go-to-market plans. You will also be responsible for ensuring national and international consistency between the distribution partners.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain commercial relationships with worldwide distribution partners for Teradici hardware and software products.
Establish pricing / margin policy.
Manage the distributor forecast for input into the financial plan.
Report on inventory and sell through levels for all products.
Establish and implement key sales and marketing metrics.
Maintain distributor relationships to drive success in all territories and meet or exceed established goals.
Work with marketing to provide the following:
Development and delivery of technical and sales support material.
Collateral material for partner branding.
Technical training.
Promotional plans.
MDF or equivalent incentives
Go to market plans
Position Requirements:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 10 years? high-tech sales experience required with 5+ years working with distributors
Proven track record in sales
Experience working in a matrixed environment and able to utilize corporate resources as required
Experience dealing with C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies
Familiarity with virtualization, networking, server and data center infrastructure
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio of opportunities
Self-motivated with strong leadership skills
