The Director of Enterprise Marketing for BitTorrent Sync is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans, and for providing inbound marketing support for BitTorrent Sync for Business.
Specific responsibilities include:
Working closely with marketing and product teams to lead the design and implementation of go-to-market strategies for BitTorrent Sync for Business
Evaluating market opportunities across customer verticals and geographic regions to determine optimal path to delivering revenue and customer value
Developing market sizing, market entry, and competitive landscape studies
Collaboration with third-party research partners to establish BitTorrent?s reach and customer value
Packaging research for sales and other core teams to ensure roadmap and customer value proposition is clear
Coordinating with PR, Brand Marketing, and other teams to support press and outbound activities to drive customer demand
Developing product positioning, customer segmentation, and cross-product strategies, as well as leading creative and messaging development
Delivering sales enablement tools like pricing analyses, competitive pricing studies, pitch decks, case studies, collateral material, web pages, social media updates, lead generation support, and other sales tool partner development
Providing annual and quarterly budgeting, planning, and project management of marketing events, including conference and speaker engagement, coordination with conference/event coordinators, participation in events, event sponsorships, giveaways, and conference materials
Coordinating with select customers and internal teams to develop and launch new product initiatives effectively, including pilot program development, alpha and beta rollouts, and full release
Communicating marketing strategy and results to senior management and the broader organization
Setting-up and reporting on metrics and analytics for your marketing activities.
Being fully accountable and responsible for setting, and meeting marketing objectives
Ideal candidates will possess a strong combination of the following experience:
8-10+ years product / enterprise marketing experience ? file sync and share industry experience required
MBA or equivalent experience preferred
Proven track record in business-to-business product / enterprise marketing and new product introduction
High level of proficiency in all forms of channel marketing, lead acquisition, and communications
Ability to translate data sets and research into actionable insights and campaigns, SEO experiments, and A/B tests on key acquisition funnels
Understanding of fundamental user metrics such as retention, DAU, MAU, churn, and uninstall/install ratios, as well as how they relate to key KPIs
Proven ability to turn research and insights into strong positioning and go-to-market strategies
Ability to manage multiple projects while working under tight deadlines
Strong business, interpersonal and communication skills and experience working effectively on large, cross-functional teams
Familiarity with file sync/share technology and ecosystem
Appetite and understanding of growth hacking techniques
Experience and track record of building integrated marketing campaigns / strategies that hit growth targets and communicate wider brand story
