Director of Entertainment and Media Partnerships Tumblr

We are looking for an ambitious and creative business development candidate to bring Tumblr?s network of creators into the world of television. In this role you will work with networks and studios to incorporate Tumblr into TV and film programming.
What you?ll do:
Build and define Tumblr?s positioning to media and TV audiences
Educate the entertainment community about how our products work within their industry
Identify key entertainment creators, movies and TV shows to align with
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships across the entertainment space from TV networks and shows, to movie studios and creators
Work with our Brand Strategists to create one-of-a-kind experiences which live simultaneously on Tumblr and on TV
Develop relationships with Tumblr creators, curators and fans to expand the voice of Tumblr into the TV landscape
What you have:
10-15 years experience in the TV and entertaiment industry
Experience with developing, structuring and closing business deals with TV networks and film studios for new media platforms
Passion for Tumblr and an extensive understanding of our features.
Experience carrying shows from pitch to air.
Knowledge of the TV industry and digital marketplace (including social & mobile) and the competitive landscape.
Passionate, innovative spirit, and a desire to work in a flexible and fast-paced environment
