Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, this role is responsible for driving revenue by executing and measuring lead generation programs. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, strong creative skills, and deep experience in managing and measuring sales and marketing programs.
The Director of Demand Generation will own the integrated demand generation activity to drive revenue specifically:
Conceptualize and manage a diverse range of lead generation programs, such as SEO, SEM, retargeting, content marketing, webinars, events, tradeshows, search engine marketing nurture campaigns, email campaigns, website offers, and more. This includes initial program conceptualization, execution of the creative process, agency management database strategy, program execution, and success measurement.
Own and manage the websites as a strategic demand generation tool, driving conversion from visitors to leads.
Create and own a lead nurturing strategy and develop the specific programs to nurture and qualify the existing internal prospect database. Own the marketing automation system and the marketing database, and build/maintain the internal house list.
Refine and report on the lead to close process, and conduct rigorous measurement of sales and marketing programs at both a macro and micro level. Analyze campaign outcomes in detail, draw insights and present results clearly to facilitate sound decision making and next steps. Track and analyze key lead generation metrics to report on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Work with Account Executive and Sales Development teams to track and manage lead flow and increase conversion rates at each stage of marketing and sales engagement
Manage a diverse set of vendors to accomplish the responsibilities outlined above.

This position requires an individual who is self-motivating and a natural leader. Success will depend on the ability to assertively drive a significant increase in sales qualified leads that lead to revenue and partner with key constituents to drive the team and organization in new directions for maximum impact.
10-12+ years experience in marketing for enterprise software companies preferably with CRM, Software-as-a-Service, customer service, or customer loyalty experience.
Proven success in creating demand for similar products.
Strategic thinking, solid business judgment, positioning/marketing savvy, and excellent interpersonal skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including copy writing, writing for email, editorial and proofreading abilities.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to run multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently.
Experience in marketing to Marketing, Customer Advocacy and other executive roles is desired for this position.
Familiarity with Salesforce.com, HubSpot, WordPress or equivalent a big plus.
College degree, preferably with an MBA.
Confident. Excellent communicator and presenter.
Persuasive and an excellent listener.
Friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic.
