We are seeking a Director of FP&A to oversee our worldwide and business unit financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. He/she will develop, implement and manage a monthly and quarterly forecast process, long range planning model, and annual operating budget. The Director leads a team of 2 who partners with Sales, Services, Marketing, and Engineering to run efficient company-wide processes and provide metrics, analytics and management reporting. The FP&A team also helps drive process and business application enhancements. This is a salaried position that requires full-time employment in Palo Alto and regular travel to New York. The individual will report to the VP of Finance. Responsibilities:
Understand key business drivers of company both short term and long range and uses this information to create financial models
Provides leadership on management of worldwide planning and forecasting activities
Partners with Controller to create and maintain seamless processes and data flow to support accounting close, forecasting, and analysis
Understands how to gather and utilize external benchmarking and comparatives
Is creative and resourceful in preparation of financial analysis
Works with leadership to design metrics, dashboards and operational reporting, e.g.:
o Worldwide Sales: analyze pipeline, conversion rates, and bookings; design and maintain effective sales compensation plans
o Services & Education: analyze utilization rate, resource planning, and business unit P&L.
o Marketing: track marketing investments, ROI, and lead generation.

Experience
10+ years in FP&A, with 3+ years of management experience
BS or MBA in Finance or related field
Experience in enterprise software or subscription business a strong preference
Start-up experience preferred
Accounting experience preferred
Investment banking is preferred but not required
Proven ability to manage and be a team member and work with executive management
Excellent computer skills, including budgeting systems and Excel.
