As a key member of the Lumension Marketing team, the Director of Global Marketing Programs is responsible for developing, and implementing the marketing plan and programs/campaigns that effectively promote Lumension?s position in the market, and convert market interest into quantifiable demand results.
This position will report to the SVP of Worldwide Marketing and will work closely with Sales Management, Product Management, IT, Finance and Customer Support.
Initiate, define, and proactively drive the development and execution of the Lumension marketing plan.
Translate the Lumension marketing plan into actionable programs/campaigns with a monthly cadence that will increase Lumension?s position in key market segments and meet quantifiable demand generation goals.
Manage and execute marketing programs/campaigns including webinars, email campaigns, promotions, events, content syndication, SEM/SEP, and other lead generation activities.
Measure/analyze and optimize marketing channels, tactics, and vendors based on internal benchmarks.
Develop content working closely with solution marketing and external resources to support the customer buying process and offer-fulfillment within marketing campaigns.
Oversee and manage external agency ecosystem including creative, media, and SEO/SEM.
Oversee lead nurturing and other mid-funnel programs.
Drive market research that supports refinement of the Lumension buying cycle model and other customer insights etc.
Responsible for managing annual marketing program budget
MS Office: Demonstrated experience in Word, PPT and Excel
Marketing Automation: Deep understanding of lead scoring, nurturing, trigger-events and drip campaigns. Marketo experience a plus
CRM: Knowledge of basic CRM fundamentals. NetSuite experience is a plus
CMS: Working knowledge of content management systems helpful.

Ability to work individually, or as part of a matrixed organization, and interact effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
Basic analytical ability needed to develop and evaluate plans and strategies.
Excellent project management skills, with the organizational ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time.

Strong interpersonal communication, presentation and relationship-building skills required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
BS with an emphasis in Marketing
A minimum of 8+ years in progressive marketing roles at the management level
Experience in B2B marketing for demand generation
Employee management experience required
Proven record in exceeding quantified demand generation goals
Experience optimizing demand conversion across multiple media channels
