Z2Live is looking for an experienced and passionate Director of HR & Recruitment to join our incredible team, working every day to create the very best freemium entertainment experiences for mobile. This candidate will be responsible for integrating HR objectives with business strategy to drive performance, accountability, change, organizational alignment, leadership, and effectiveness. They will also be responsible for sourcing candidates and managing job openings, both internally and with the recruitment firms we work with. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, high performing, and team-oriented HR professional, who can also proactively identify passive candidates, facilitate the interview and candidate selection process, and ensure the candidates experience is incredibly positive.
Responsibilities:
Organizational development, talent management, coaching, compensation, and employee relations.
Work with hiring managers to define and qualify position requirements, creative strategies, and generate and post open roles with limited direction.
Manage the candidate pipeline and process end-to-end ? sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating, providing feedback, extending offers, etc.
Be the expert in industry best practices around functional areas of recruitment, new trends, and opportunities to consistently raise the bar on staffing deliverables.
Requirements:
Organizational agility and leadership.
Demonstrated excellence in business acumen, analysis, project management, communication, presentations, negotiation, conflict management, and problem solving.
Proven ability to qualify technical roles and candidates (Artists, Engineers, Game Devs, etc) and filter candidate pipeline and reduce resume/portfolio submission to hire ratio.
Proven experience with leveraging social sourcing techniques to attract and build a strong network of artistic and technical talent.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; skilled conversationalist.
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
Self-motivated and able to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic development environment.
Highly polished and professional demeanor.
Passion for games and entertainment.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree in applicable field of study.
MBA or advanced degree in HR / Recruitment a plus.
4-6 years experience managing HR for a technology driven startup.
Solid understanding of employment laws.
4-6 years hands-on, high volume talent acquisition experience recruiting for technology startups in the game development, creative entertainment, or consumer web spaces.
Experience working an extremely fast-growing, entrepreneurial, start-up environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and cutting edge technologies.
