Directs and coordinates the organizations activities related to all human resources functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, affirmative action, training, recruitment, and safety. Establishes and implements programs and policies designed to protect company and employee interests in accordance with company Human Resource policies and governmental laws and regulations. Identifies and complies with legal requirements and government reporting regulations. The director supervises human resource staff.
Lead the HR department to provide a broad range of value added services and support to the company.
Work with executive leadership to determine HR strategies and priorities and to develop and deploy HR programs.
Responsible for maintaining HR policies and employee manuals. Periodically reviews and makes recommendations to management for improvement of our policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
Consult with managers regarding staffing, employee development, compensation and performance management programs.
Manages new hire orientation and exit of employees.
Manages recruitment efforts and staff.
Manages payroll and benefits management (payroll outsourced to professional payroll company).
Develop and manage employee relations program.
Lead in company?s development of wellness programs.
Manage employee survey process, assess results and suggest responsive programs.
Responsible for regulatory compliance and oversight pertaining to HR matters (payroll, taxes, workers compensation, FMLA, and other regulatory authorities).
Administer 401K plan with support of outside administrators and investment advisors.
Manage benefits plan and coordinate with brokers on renewal strategies.
Payroll management, assures the preparation of the bi-weekly payroll, ensuring integrity of the records and compliance with all wage and hour laws and company policies
Minimum of 10+ years of related human resources management experience.
Minimum of Bachelor?s Degree in Management or Human Resources or a related area of study.
Ability to handle both strategic and detailed operational issues.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Energetic, organized, fast learner and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Proven organizational skills and effective communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Strong technical knowledge of all facets of HR management
