Job Summary:
The Director of Information Technology (IT) will report to the CFO and will be responsible for overall strategy and execution of all business, operational, and support applications and infrastructure at Aquion Energy.
The Director of IT will oversee the streamlined operation of a cross functional IT team and ensure alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization; manage the site infrastructure and application portfolios with a focus on adopting, deploying and expanding soon to be chosen ERP system.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Own the development, execution and budgeting of a multisite strategy and plan for IT application delivery and deployment.
Oversee IT infrastructure development, maintenance, and user support.
Lead an ERP/MRP system adoption team.
Oversee IT services vendor teams.
Negotiate and own all hardware and software purchase and maintenance agreements.
Expand and integrate cloud-based, company-wide services (email, etc.) with onsite network infrastructure.
Develop business processes, workflows and reporting systems
Supervise internal or external application development efforts.
Minimum Required Skills:
Bachelors of Arts or Sciences, computer engineering or information technology degree preferred
10 years of IT systems or infrastructure management experience
Experience managing a team of direct reports and external service providers
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and information systems
Able to facilitate group discussions to arrive at optimal IT solutions with cross functional teams
Strong experience deploying and managing business applications, including ERP systems
Experience leading implementations of enterprise wide systems such as ERP and MES
Experience managing MS Windows domains and Google Apps installations
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
