Director Inside Sales ? Palo Alto, CA Jive is seeking an ambitious and talented sales manager for our Corporate Inside Sales Team in Palo Alto. This role is responsible for building and managing a dynamic team of sales representatives that will close sales of Jive?s newest product into a defined geographic and named account territory. This role will have a sophisticated knowledge of sales management and have what it takes to build a world class sales organization that consistently exceeds expectations. Responsibilities:
Lead team of approximately 10 Telesales Representatives
Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual new business quotas
Track daily performance and activity metrics
Reinforce the current sales process
Innovate and continuously improve the sales process
Deliver ongoing coaching, both in group and individual settings
Help drive and support sales as needed
Help establish new hire training plans
Develop and maintain a team-focused culture focused on performance, professionalism and delivery of phenomenal customer service
Required qualifications:
Previous sales management experience
At least 5-7 years sales experience
History of successfully exceeding sales quotas
Excellent leadership and communication skills (mentoring, coaching, motivating)
Strong decision-making skills and independent judgment
Exceptional written and verbal communicator
Motivated, self-starter with an excellent work ethic
Dependable with the desire to work at a fast, start-up pace
Ability to work out of the Palo Alto Corporate Headquarters each day
