Director of Internal Controls and Procurement Jive Software
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Jive is looking for a seasoned professional to help with our process design and controls to support our growing business. As the Director of Internal Controls and Procurement, reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, this person will be filling a critical role of overseeing Jive?s internal controls program and procurement/purchasing function. The Director of Internal Controls and Procurement will be responsible for two separate, but related functions. The person we are looking for will need to be a self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic growing environment where they can make a substantial impact. This person will play a critical role in developing, implementing and ensuring compliance with our internal controls program, including SOX compliance, and developing and overseeing all aspects of our procurement function. This person can make a significant impact to Jive?s bottom line through increased efficiencies gained through streamlined processes and by implementing and managing a process to better leverage our suppliers.
Responsibilities ? Internal Controls
Responsible for all aspects of development and implementation of Jive?s SOX program
Review current process and identify materiality and in scope processes
Work with the other members of the finance and accounting team to define and document controls
Review existing process and provide input on design improvements
Special projects as needed
Identify material risks and ensure proper mitigating controls
Primary point of contact with external auditors regarding internal controls
Manage SOX audits
Manage special projects assigned by the Audit Committee as needed
Responsible for managing third parties and consulting resources needed for SOX compliance
Deliver quarterly updates to management and Audit Committee as needed
Responsibilities - Procurement
Establish procurement function and oversee day to day responsibilities
Manage procurement headcount, currently 1
Define and document procurement policies
Oversee cross functional roll out of new policies
Identify areas of potential cost savings
Miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Bachelors Degree and 6-10 years of relevant work experience
Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt, prioritize and execute to achieve desired results
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to effectively communicate and partner with all levels of an organization, including board members
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Familiarity with the software industry preferred.
