DIRECTOR OF IT United Sample

POSITION DESCRIPTION
uSamp is seeking a Director of IT with extensive datacenter experience hosting web
application(s) and/or SaaS platform(s). This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise
and will be critical to building our next generation service offering. This individual will be
responsible for setting the vision and operating philosophy of the department and ensure
proper execution.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years hand-on experience (production datacenters and corporate infrastructure)
- 3+ years of management experience
- Working knowledge of EC2 and RightScale
- Expert knowledge of Linux / Apache
- Enterprise monitoring with Nagios, OpenView, SCOM, MOM, Splunk or equivalent
- In-depth understanding of Windows/Active Directory administration
- Strong understanding of security principals
- 24x7 production datacenter support
- World-wide / multi-office corporate infrastructure support.
