Director of IT DocuSign

DocuSign is looking for a Director to successfully lead the Information Technology (IT) department during our rapid growth. At DocuSign, IT?s mission is to develop enterprise-class IT operations with a people-centric and forward thinking foundation of process and highly scalable infrastructure to support our corporate goals and deliver exceptional support and services through flawless execution.
This role is responsible for all aspects of information technology management and control, including people management; budget preparation and management; recommendations for hardware, software, and network solutions; and development of guidelines, standards and procedures. In addition, the Director of IT will be responsible for facilities management and security in cooperation with our office management team and Chief Security Officer.
The Director is charged with strategic planning, tactical action, and operational decision-making to fulfill the mission of the department. The Director must possess initiative and drive, have broad relevant technical knowledge with good management expertise, demonstrate the ability to prioritize workload, and ability to collaborate with other departments.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Develop communication and information systems enabling strong teamwork and collaboration throughout DocuSign. Maximize productivity through hardware and software technology, data accessibility, ease of use, and knowledgeable support.
Develop a comprehensive program of controls, process, and procedures supporting industry compliance, regulatory requirements, and IT best practices. Effectively deliver support and services within a manageable framework of controls.
Architect, implement, and develop enterprise-class infrastructure supporting rapid growth, scalability, high availability, data protection, compliance initiatives, and seamless geographic integration.
Deliver systems, infrastructure, and support services to the organization aligned with our corporate priorities and focused on usability and Operational Excellence. Engage our user community consistently with courtesy, concern, and technical expertise.
Management Qualifications:

Technical Qualifications:
Advanced, current knowledge and experience with security technologies used in Firewalls, VPNs, and Windows servers.
Advanced, current knowledge and experience with Microsoft and Apple operating systems, virtualization technologies (especially VMWare), and SaaS based technologies.
Advanced, current knowledge and experience with Microsoft Exchange, BPOS, SharePoint, and Office 365.
Current, hands on knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory security policy management and event logging relative to compliance controls, monitoring, and event analysis.
Advanced knowledge and experience with user access permissions settings, security policy administration, and highly secure LAN/WAN connected networks across two or more geographic locations.
Current experience developing an IT Program in compliance with at least one of the following: PCI DSS, SAS 70/SSAE 16 , ISO 27001.
Ability to design and write detailed compliance and control documentation using appropriate terminology and technical accuracy.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 7 years working in an IT management level role coupled with a minimum of 5 years hands on experience with relevant systems/network/security technologies and applications
Ideal candidates will have been working in fast paced start-up phase technology companies which operate globally.
Preferred candidates will have a BS and/or formal technical training in information technology, computer science or equivalent work experience.
