Job Description:
Director of IT/Security
As the Director of Information Technology, you will be responsible for the strategic design, planning, and implementation of our corporate network and information security management program. Supporting a multi-site business with remote development and sales resources, you will be challenged to make a difference by improving our current IT business solutions to become more relevant for a fast growing global company. You will get your hands dirty! The successful candidate will be able to deliver against an IT network and security improvement plan that enables our business to sustain continued high growth. If you have been there and done that, and would like a chance to do it all again in a startup environment, this train is ready for you.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Network Security Architecture
Identity and Access Management Architecture
Architect, design, implement and support Identity and Access products
Security management over all aspects of information security
Computer incident response
Forensic investigation
Risk analysis
Business continuity planning
Regulatory compliance
Vulnerability assessments / management
Threat management
E-discovery
Writing corporate security policies/procedures/guidelines
Project management for the overall IT infrastructure, computing security and control infrastructure project.
Manage the corporate IT department including the corporate network and desktop support
Support our software applications such as Clearcase, the Intranet, manage network efficiency among our offices and the labs, and oversee facilities.
Desirable: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
Required Experience:
5-7 years leadership experience in networking security and multi-site IT services
Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
Hands on experience in Information Security Solution Architecture, email encryption solution, firewall, load balancer, proxy, portal, and web based applications
Very strong operations experience to work well in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Demonstrated track record in creating an environment where teams and groups achieve and surpass objectives and goals
Process and quality orientation with attention to detail
Self motivated leader, independent and driven by sense of accomplishment with the ability to rally the troops to do what it takes to meet the customer's expectations.
Exceptional up beat and optimistic attitude, quick learner with the ability to understand and adapt to new technology
Must have the ability and availability to travel locally and internationally, up to 25%
US Citizenship REQUIRED
Education and other requirement:
BA/BS degree in a technology related field
Light travel required; could be up to 25% at times
