Aternity is seeking a Director of Lead Development who will manage the Lead Development team, while also being an individual contributor who will be tasked with very specific objectives around developing new business opportunities that directly impacting the growth of the company, while working alongside many members of Aternity?s leadership team. The position reports into the Vice President, Marketing.
The Director, Lead Development will excel in a professional working environment where daily, weekly, and monthly goals are expected to be met and he/she will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of these objectives by the Lead Development team. The ideal candidate may also have previous experience working in a marketing and/or sales organization. In addition, the successful candidate must have a clear ambition and desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and enjoy managing and nurturing team members to exceed quarterly goals.
In addition, the Director, Lead Development must be able to not only work within the current set of processes established, but be able to actively contribute to the further development and refinement of processes that will drive the team?s success. The Director, Lead Development must be able to not only nurture team members, but set an example for building a solid and repeatable set of processes that drive conversion rates of Marketing leads.
Responsibilities:
Continuous data mining Aternity?s various marketing database to identify and prioritize leads for the team that require follow-up and nurturing, while also having the ability to correlate data among these databases to identify trends and patterns within target accounts
Management of the team to ensure consistent outreach via email, phone, fax, and direct mail to identify leads to get them further engaged with Aternity, while also working with Aternity?s Marketing organization to create and execute new nurturing programs. It will also be critical for the Director, Lead Development to also engage in all of the above listed activities as the role will also be expected to fulfill weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives.
Tight collaboration with members of Aternity?s sales and business development organizations to engage them in appropriate opportunities as identified through data mining and nurturing efforts

As an individual contributor, the Director, Lead Development must be a high-energy and assertive individual who can establish relationships quickly via targeted email, phone, fax, and direct mail outreach and speak professionally about end user experience management and the high-level benefits/value proposition offered by adopting
Proven experience in enterprise software sales/marketing to one or more of the following verticals is a plus: financial services, insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications, and/or healthcare.

Experience:
The ideal candidate must have experience in a Marketing or Sales Organization, while also possessing the following:
Bachelor Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing disciplines, MBA a plus
Previous B2B sales and/or business development experience (minimum of 5 years), background in enterprise software a plus
Salesforce.com experience a must
Familiarity with performing routine tasks throughout Microsoft Office applications, including familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Previous management experience
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
