JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary of Functions:
Due to continued growth we are seeking a Director of Loss Prevention at our Corporate HQ in High Point, NC.
Essential Functions
The Director of Loss Prevention must be an extraordinary communicator as well as be driven to accomplish all assigned tasks with speed and accuracy. This position must be comfortable as the resident expert on all security and loss prevention issues for the executive leadership team. The Director of Loss Prevention must be hands on with the ability to multi-task.
This chosen candidate for this position must have the ability to influence the behavior of multiple levels of management. This position is also responsible for the vendor relationship with a contract guard services that secures facilities 24/7. Other vendors are also managed under this position including CCTV, BAS and other security companies.
The Director of Loss Prevention will also be responsible for conducting and/or directing investigations. This position will also champion the employee awareness program throughout the facilities helping to create a culture of honesty and responsibility among employees.
Experience and/or Education Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of loss prevention and security experience in a distribution, manufacturing or big-box retail environment. The ability to adjust priorities with little notice while maintaining sight of the long term goals of the company is also critical. A 4 year degree is preferred.
