Director of Marketing, Americas Ruckus Wireless
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Reporting to the VP of Marketing, with dotted line reporting to the Head of Americas (AMR) Sales, the Director of Marketing for AMR is responsible for the execution of outbound corporate and regional marketing activities, events, channel programs, public and media relations as well as lead generation campaigns for Ruckus Wireless, a fast-growing and publicly-held wireless equipment supplier.
A hands-on position, the Director of AMR Marketing will work with Ruckus regional sales staff along with Corporate Marketing to develop and execute programs that drive incremental revenue and create new business opportunities for the company and its channel partners.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, identifying in-region marketing opportunities, VAR recruitment, working with existing channel partners and distributors on marketing initiatives, executing product launches in region, developing regional-specific lead generation programs, generating customer case studies and acting as the AMR spokesperson for events and media relations activities.
Tactically, this position will work to:
? Regionalize corporate marketing programs such as Ruckus University and Dog Days,
? Assist in localizing content for regional consumption,
? Create compelling case studies and the requisite collateral to better promote our regional successes,
? Work directly with our PR agency throughout AMR to increase visibility of Ruckus and our brand throughout the region,
? Develop proactive lead generation program(s).
? Work with distributors and key channel partners on marketing program as well as MDF plans
? Create, coordinate and execute all AMR local events, and
? Work with Corporate Marketing on establishing a complementary but localized social media presence.
A high-visibility position, the Director of AMR Marketing requires a seasoned computer-networking executive with of minimum of 7 years industry experience, with some experience in the wireless networking industry. Knowledge of the basic principles of computer networking, demonstrable writing skills and an aggressive attitude is a must. An undergraduate degree in journalism, marketing, communications and/or public relations is required.
