Director of Marketing Analytics Bulldog Solutions
The Director of Marketing Analytics will partner with Client Services Team members (Account Directors, Account Managers etc.) to understand our Enterprise clients? key initiatives and campaign goals in order to develop robust analysis and actionable insights to drive improved results for various client campaigns.
Success in this role requires not only expert data and analysis skills but also strong communication and presentation skills. Deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle from lead generation to sales conversion is a must. Prior management of an analytics team with strong cross-functional leadership is also required.
Build an analytics practice from the ground-up
Mange a marketing analyst team
Produce data-driven analysis and recommendations that support actionable insights for client marketing programs
Effectively interact with Enterprise clients as he or she works closely with the Client Services Team to provide all analytics support.
Develop, analyze and synthesize an array of client data sets (i.e., web, email marketing, direct marketing, market sales and market research)
Share best practices and define measurement plans consisting of key performance indicators, drivers and operational metrics for program evaluation
Produce succinct reports and dashboards highlighting key results of client marketing programs
Support all aspects of the marketing planning and development process by executing or assisting in program and/or campaign analyses as well as segmentation efforts
Support all aspects of analytical modeling. This includes sample selection, file creation, model building, scoring and post-analysis.
Conduct analytical assessment to interpret results of various client marketing programs both individually and in conjunction with other marketing programs
5+ years of experience managing a marketing analytics team, conducting data-driven analyses to solve business problems ideally in management consulting or interactive marketing disciplines/agencies
5+ years of experience in supporting marketing campaign reporting and optimization
Proven management and leadership skills
Expert level experience analyzing digital performance
Past experience in Sales and Marketing KPIs and metrics, campaign test design, reporting and optimization
Expert in presenting recommendations in a clear and concise way to ?tell a story? with data
Passion for Revenue Performance and Sales Enablement Strategy
Self-starter with out-of-the box problem solving skills who can provide thought leadership and drive results
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence business partners
Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to lead a team that can keep numerous tasks/projects on track
BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or related degree, MBA a plus.
Technical Skill requirements:
Business Intelligence (BI) Tools: SQL Reporting Services, Microstrategy, Cognos, Birst, Tableau, GoodData, SAS, SPSS and/or R
Web Analytics Tools: Google Analytics, Webtrends, Omniture, Coremetrics
Testing Tools: Test & Target, Optimizely, Google Website Optimizer
Expert skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; With the ability to use advance features such as pivot tables and design templates
Proficient in designing/building data warehouses and/or experience with the deployment of reporting/dashboard solutions from the ground-up.
