The Director of Marketing will be responsible for strategic development and product management.
Essential Job Functions:
Player/coach role
Responsible for the management of PADnet and Disease Management product line
Manage TRAKnet Product Manager
Manage sales training activities/people
Standard management requirements/duties (managing Product Manager)
Budget management of Marketing department
Performance management of direct reports
Productivity management of team
Direction and vision of existing products - make recommendation of additional products and services to be added to our portfolio
Treat Sales Force as a customer - solicit product, market, program, customer feedback on an ongoing basis
Responsible for overseeing all product related training to sales force and/or rest of company
Responsible for overseeing the creation of all product related sales tools including: sales sheets, PowerPoint, videos, web and mobile smartphone tools
Need to be the "expert" in specific product(s)
Need to know the current market as well as adjacent market opportunities
Work with marketing to develop sales tools and programs to increase productivity
Work with marketing to develop/change tradeshow materials to increase traffic to booth
Work with R&D team in the development of future product releases
Work with Directory of Customer Service and implementation team to ensure future product related changes meet department needs
Work with marketing to develop marketing strategy (tradeshows, advertising, user groups, other)
Work with VPs and Marketing Communications department in the creation of product specific promotions
Have a full understanding of existing BioMedix customer base including: number of installs, by product, market opportunity, saturation rates, market drivers, value props, market share analysis
Manage relationships with key BioMedix clients
Attend numerous tradeshows throughout the year
Work with VP and Marketing Communications department to deliver on user group sessions (purpose is to use feedback to make products better)
Have a complete understanding of all competitors, offerings, pricing, promo strategies, install base, messaging
Recommend pricing and promotion strategies to VP of BioMedix for consideration
Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting to VP and Executive Management

Professional Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
Master's Degree preferred
5+ years of management experience or equivalent
5+ years of marketing experience
