Director of Marketing Automation MaxPoint Interactive
The Director of Marketing Automation will be responsible for developing and leading the company?s overall marketing automation strategy and building a best-in-class marketing automation program. If you are the right fit for this role, you have extensive digital email campaign execution, demand generation, lead nurturing and best practice implementation experience. We are looking for a forward thinker, someone who has the ability to lead talented people, is analytical and strategic, while also diving right into the execution of our email campaigns.
Oversee all outbound marketing programs utilizing a marketing automation platform and other enterprise software solutions.
Collaborate with the creative services team and the content team and provide best-practice guidance to implement and execute campaigns utilizing the Marketo marketing automation platform.
Responsible for monitoring and measuring campaign stats and providing analytics.
Guide and enhance the marketing automation platform to optimize segmentation, campaign execution, lead scoring and nurturing.
Introduce and promote digital best practices such as testing, segmentation, life-cycle campaigns, dynamic content delivery, etc.
Work closely with the creative design team to develop and roll out and test new templates for digital email campaigns while upholding design branding guidelines.
Directs and manages a team of 5+.
Advanced Marketo and Salesforce.com knowledge and experience is required; Marketo Certification is strongly preferred.
Extensive experience in managing digital marketing email campaigns of varying complexity.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
Experience working closely and effectively communicating with senior level executives.
Team management experience required.
Ability to develop strong networks and build credibility within the organization.
Ability to perform well in a team environment and manage multiple deadline-driven projects.
Must be flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Excellent editing, proofreading and project management experience with attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) as well as flexibility with similar alternative programs.
Ability to process a vast amount of information and understand and prioritize competing business needs.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and vendors at all levels to meet business goals.
Willingness to roll up his/her sleeves to get the work done and go the extra mile.
Strong personal work ethic.
Flexible personality and quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency.
BA or BS required with 15+ years of relevant marketing automation and email marketing experience.
Experience working with a technology company is preferred.
