The Director of Marketing Communications (Marcomm Director) will provide a broad range of communications and marketing support for the company?s agriculture products. The Marcomm Director will be hands-on and will work collaboratively with the product managers, sales team, product development, partners, and management to create and execute integrated marketing plans. The successful candidate will need to be creative, comfortable being hands-on, and action oriented. We are looking for a highly dedicated professional with a strong marketing background and who is a proven problem solver, self-motivated, and team oriented.
Develop creative and executable marketing plans to generate awareness and demand for MBI?s agriculture products.
Drive all relevant outbound marketing initiatives that may encompass events/tradeshows, advertising, direct mail, etc.
Create and/or direct the development of sales tools and other communications vehicles such as videos and customer testimonials.
Lead product launch efforts.
Ensure web content is compelling and current.
As appropriate, leverage social media to increase awareness, engagement and loyalty.
Create and manage a marketing calendar.
Develop and manage marketing budget(s) to align with company goals.
Manage in-house staff, contractors, and agencies to deliver high quality deliverables on time and within budget.
Assist product management with message development.
Review and report on marketing effectiveness and budgets.
Other duties as assigned.
A bachelor?s degree in marketing, business, or communications.
6?10 years? experience in marketing with agriculture experience strongly preferred.
Experience managing budgets as well as in-house staff, contractors, and agencies.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement workflow processes.
Willingness to be hands-on with a high degree of ownership and demonstration of results orientation.
Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Keen attention to detail.
Superior professionalism and judgment.
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (especially PowerPoint); knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
Minimal travel required.
The salary range is competitive.
