PaySimple is an early-stage growth company seeking a results-driven marketing superstar to drive the strategies behind its demand generation, lifecycle, and content marketing programs.
You have a proven track record of results leading demand gen, lifecycle, and marketing operations functions for technology companies, and have a thirst for learning about the latest marketing trends and technologies. You have excellent cross-functional project leadership skills and a strong ability to forge relationships with sales and client services teams. These interpersonal management skills are balanced with an analytical mindset and strategic foresight; you like to dive deep into the metrics of campaign performance, and then craft top-to-bottom strategies that deliver revenue-impacting results. You have a knack for organizing the key players and functions necessary to deliver projects expediently, and a hunger for seeing early results to fuel future optimization.
We are building a top-notch marketing team with passionate, energetic, boundary-pushing personalities. Our product is a cloud-based software that provides the futures payment technologies to todays small business owners, enabling them to improve their clients' payment experience. We believe in creating the best experience for our users, and use best-in-class technology and tactics to create a scalable, seamless experience. As a key member of the marketing team, reporting to the VP of Marketing and working alongside the Director of Acquisition, we expect you to be the customer advocate, always pushing strategies and ideas that create the best user experience.
Branding ? Working closely with the VP of Marketing, you will craft product-positioning messaging and strategies that increase lead generation and accelerate leads down the funnel. You will own the creative direction of the website, email, and all marketing touchpoints that tie into the overall user experience for our customers.
PR ? Keep a pulse on new product features and company announcements, write press releases, and maintain media relationships in our space.
Content Marketing ? You will own the editorial calendar, and be responsible for content themes all the way through the funnel that drive awareness, educate prospects, create confident buyers, and engage customers. You will leverage multi-channel touchpoints to find the right-message/right-person/right-time marketing mix.
Lead Nurturing ? Leveraging content, marketing automation tools, and sales enablement tactics, you will test strategies that accelerate qualified leads down the funnel, and be responsible for the analysis and reporting at every step.
Sales Enablement ? Working closely with the head of Sales, you will push new ideas that test the right blend of marketing and sales touchpoints for new and existing channels.
Customer Engagement ? A great marketer knows that marketing doesn't end at the point of purchase. Working closely with the Director of Customer Experience, you will own the strategy behind the customer engagement and advocacy programs that increase referrals and revenue from the customer base.
Experience and Skills:
Strong strategic thinking, balanced with hands-on tactical know-how
A hunger to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
A creative eye for great design with strong analytics skills
Ability to tie business objectives to marketing strategy and tactics &ndash: experience in B2B marketing a big plus
Capacity to balance priorities as an individual contributor and a team leader
Passion for testing the right mix of marketing vehicles, design offers, and calls-to-action to deliver better conversion rates and user experience
Ability to set individual and group program goals with measurement criteria
An exceptional understanding of lead databases, segmentation, email execution, lead nurturing, reporting and analysis
Strong marketing operations and reporting skills with ingenuity to provide scalable reporting and analysis
Experience and Education
7+ years experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years of experience as a marketing manager in a demand generation field, including inbound marketing, content marketing, lead nurturing, event marketing, social media seeding, PR, and SEO/SEM
Advanced-level working knowledge of marketing technologies, including marketing automation platforms, web analytics systems, and CRM databases
Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, and Google Analytics and big plus
Proven track record of supporting successful demand generation lead programs from a variety of channels
Budget management and ROI analysis a must
BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field
