Medical Simulation Corporation (MSC) is a recognized leader in providing full-service simulation-based training services to hospital personnel, medical product manufacturers, and medical societies. As an organization, we develop, sell and deliver simulation-based training and consulting services to the medical device and healthcare provider market.
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans to meet overall organization plans and generate additional revenue in MSC?s two major market segments: Hospital/Healthcare Quality Initiatives and Medical Device Manufacturer?s product training.
The Director will work closely with other departments to guide the programs that excite and motivate our partners and customers with innovative products and exceptional services.
The Director will lead and drive all of the company?s initiatives in the marketing department, including marketing operations, branding, public relations, and partnership marketing.
This is a great opportunity in a creative and entrepreneurial company. Along with the CEO & the COO, the Director will play a key role in identifying and realizing the strategic vision and also the day-to-day requirements in a company which is largely driven by its marketing activities.
The successful candidate will be a creative, energetic marketing and branding professional with high business acumen and knowledge of the consultive sales process. Products and services will be sold through several channels including strategic vendor partnerships.
The successful candidate will likely have the following Skills and Experience:
Experience in marketing innovative products through consultive selling in a health care environment.
Experience in managing multiple-element product and service concepts, including the need to develop a strategy for product pricing based on market demand and similar products offered by competitors.
Establishing market strategies that disrupt historic buyer conventions or product/service perceptions.
In depth understanding of buyer behavior, advertising and creative services process (print, production, media), market research, and forecasting.
Track record of thriving in a fast-paced and & cross-functional business environment.
Experience with budgets, P&L, and forecasting.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively across functions, with minimal direction.
Outstanding verbal and written skills, with the ability to present data and conclusions in an organized, concise manner at all levels throughout the company.
Experience forging strategic alliances and relationship marketing to support business model.
Willingness to learn and thrive in a high growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Education & Work Background
Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies including launching new and ground-breaking offerings.
Technical product marketing skills.
Relevant product and industry knowledge.
5+ years brand management experience with proven track record of results
and/or
5+ years of experience in senior marketing position of a health care system or major medical device manufacturer.
