JiWire is looking for an experienced business-to-business marketer to accelerate our leadership position in the high growth location-based mobile advertising and media market. As our Director of Marketing, you will develop and execute the company?s marketing strategy as well as leading the company?s strategic sales support efforts. The role will report to JiWire?s President.
You will be primarily responsible for the company?s overall go-to-market programs and external marketing. This includes the market launch of new products, the development of sales programs to support JiWire?s Media Sales team, and strategy development for key industry verticals, large strategic accounts, and new markets.
In addition, as the Director of Marketing, you will lead all aspects of marketing communications. This includes public relations, events, social media, the company website, marketing collateral, trade advertising, lead generation programs, and our unique research programs.
You will work closely with sales and interface often with clients (both agencies and brands), and act as a critical liaison between sales, marketing, product management, and business development to best combine JiWire?s products, inventory, and location-based capabilities into compelling revenue programs.
You are a critical thinker with great instincts, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You enjoy the opportunity to define the cutting edge of the mobile advertising and big data location market. To accomplish this, you are comfortable leveraging data, market and proprietary research, insights and best practices to creatively develop the company?s go-to-market plans. This role requires an ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution, be able to not only develop innovative big ideas for strategic accounts, but also to convert those into scalable, repeatable programs across JiWire?s full client base.
Management of JiWire?s strategic and tactical marketing efforts towards both agencies and brands, as well as the mobile tech industry.
Development of sales and marketing programs, managing the lifecycle of these programs from launch to measuring success and ROI
Creation of all JiWire materials, from eye-catching infographics and sales presentations to case studies and website design.
Development of sales training for new programs, positioning, market strategies, as well as how to utilize strategic sales tools.
Lead JiWire?s market research program, including publishing a quarterly insights report, defining the research strategy, and meeting with clients to share market insights.
Management and strategy behind JiWire?s social media channels, and development of lead generation programs for sales.
Management of direct and indirect teams.
5-7 years of experience in BtoB marketing with proven success both in external marketing, product marketing, and sales support.
Extensive marketing experience in the online or mobile advertising space through work at a digital media publisher, an agency, or an advertising solutions provider.
