As a Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for driving customer acquisition through multi-channel marketing that includes building awareness and demand, lead capture and nurturing, and ultimately driving acquisition online and offline through retail partners and direct to Ooma. This is a strategic role that also requires a working knowledge of how marketing campaigns are built and the ability to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage end-to-end strategic and tactical marketing programs to increase customer acquisition.
Pricing & promotion strategy across direct, retail and VAR channels.
Develop and manage strategic partnerships for the purpose of customer acquisition.
Develop social and viral marketing programs to increase Word-Of-Mouth and customer advocacy.
Effectively partner with external resources and internal teams (Web, Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Care, Email, Social) to drive successful project execution.
Analyze data, draw insights, and communicate results to the larger marketing organization and the Ooma leadership team.
Be accountable for business results, including establishing & tracking progress against financial targets.
Continuously learn and iterate our marketing programs to improve growth outcomes.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing strategy and execution in technology or consumer business, or web/software applications
Minimum 7 years of experience in the following areas: Demand generation, lead generation, lead nurturing, integrated marketing, solution selling, working across functional areas.
The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of how to market to small businesses
Think strategically while executing: Ability to define strategies based on business goals & customer insights, and translate into actionable test & implementation plan.
Strategic knowledge of marketing tools such as Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce, and other
Results Oriented: Passion and drive to dramatically grow the business results through successful marketing strategies and tactics.
Customer-focused: Passion and drive to uncover customer insights. The ability to think through, and deliver, exceptional end-to-end customer experiences that delight users at every touch point is required.
Innovative: Thinks out of the box and generates new ideas to push the boundaries of marketing.
Analytical: Solid analytical ability, with track record of ?test & learn? mindset. Assess key performance indicators to monitor how the business is performing and drive for great growth outcomes.
Preferred Experience & skill:
?Undergraduate degree required, Master?s degree preferred.
