The Director of Marketing Services will be responsible for development and execution of marketing for Carnegie Learning curriculum and services.
The Director of Marketing Services will work closely with the Vice President of Marketing Services and Professional Services and will support a marketing staff focused on design and execution, sales support and training, and program management.

Job responsibilities:
Marketing Design & Execution
Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns that promote programs across all channels: Web, email, direct mail, advertising, catalogs, tradeshows/conferences, events, newsletters, etc.
Provide support to other internal departments (i.e. NMI, sales email blasts, etc.) to promote special programs and initiatives
Sales Support & Training
Develop a comprehensive, market-driven field sales ?toolkit" designed to illustrate the core messaging behind Carnegie Learning curriculum and services, revolutionizing mathematics teaching and learning. The Sales Toolkit might include:
- Success stories from districts and schools, including video
- PowerPoint presentations highlighting critical solutions
- Product promotional brochures and printed sales collateral for use in multiple sales channels
Work with the field Sales force and Educational Services teams to define differentiators to target key accounts.
Partner with Regional Sales Teams and Managers to:
- Ensure marketing efforts are in line with sales needs/demands
- Develop and provide targeted sales training to both new and existing Regional Account Managers and Inside Sales Representatives on key company programs and products.
Program Management
Work with product management and development teams to develop core marketing message and program development
Stay abreast of federal education and funding trends; respond as needed with marketing and promotional campaigns; communicate this messaging and roadmap to applicable personnel/departments.
Other
Develop, allocate and oversee marketing and promotional budget including adoptions
Collaborate with others to design and implement essential research studies and pilot programs for the purpose of validation and proven effectiveness
Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related discipline.
3-5 years of marketing or educational publishing experience.
5+ years of direct management of a team
Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills
Some travel required
