DIRECTOR OF MARKETING Affinergy

Responsibilities:


- First member of Marketing & Sales organization with autonomy and flexibility to implement processes and strategies to maximize product launches
- Member of product development team gathering input on key product design features
- Recruit Surgeon Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to assist in product refinement, publications, and eventual transition of the product into the clinic
- Design clinical studies as needed to support product launches
- Develop sales forecasts for US and EU product launches
- Detailed understanding of competitive products in the marketplace to aid in developing appropriate product positioning
- Develop formal training programs as well as marketing literature to support product launch and surgeon adoption
- Assist in identification of appropriate distribution channels for product sales
- Serve as a mentor/trainer to co-workers regarding the orthopedic products industry
- Develop and assemble information and presentations, communicating relevant information to various stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities for future products




Qualifications

- B.S. Degree required, MBA preferred
- Minimum of five years experience in Marketing, Product Management, Product Marketing or Branding/Marketing in the Orthopedics industry, with a strong preference for direct experience in launching orthobiologics products
- Existing relationships with orthopedic surgeons in spine and trauma is highly desired
- Demonstrated success in project management and marketing planning and execution, including product branding, positioning, marketing plan development required
- Ability to utilize written and oral communications skills to produce effective marketing promotion materials that accomplish department goals/objectives required
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, creative, and able to work in a team environment within a small company
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms
- Ability to understand deadlines and commitments.
