The Director Marketing will work closely with Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Technology in making a significant impact on the future strategic direction of the company. S/he will also be responsible for executing upon the strategic direction of the communication of RiseSmart?s brand and its industry leading Career Management solutions.
The Director Marketing will be focused on raising visibility in the market for RiseSmart?s Solutions. Key focus would be to build the RiseSmart brand and drive lead gen initiatives to support sales efforts. Candidate should have a strong background in leading marketing strategies by forming close relationships with customer advocates, ability to form strong alliances at industry venues such as forums and conventions, and a proactive approach to gathering market intelligence. Additional responsibilities for this role include: driving product and service strategy and vision, agency/vendor management, branding initiatives, marketing collateral design and development, creative services, and all online presence and web-intensive marketing campaigns.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
?Plan, develop and implement marketing strategies, lead generation, and public and media relations activities. Lead gen activities are critical
?Partner with the Sales team to align marketing and sales goals, and create a plan to achieve desired pipeline and revenue growth targets
?Consult with Management and Sales to execute lead campaigns, channel-specific marketing programs and initiatives
?Direct the growth of strategic and tactical marketing programs including industry relations, company messaging, branding, Internet, collateral, lead generation, as well as analyst and public relations
?Work alongside management team to create closer ties with customer advocates and Industry leaders as we seek to make strides in the HR industry
?Consult directly with stakeholders to understand marketing needs and to devise appropriate go-to-market strategies
?Responsible for editorial direction, design, and production of all corporate communication vehicles
?Ensure consistent positioning and messaging in communicating RiseSmart?s brand
?Corporate marketing experience in an environment that requires collaboration with cross functional teams including Operations, Product Development, Technology and Sales
Required Job Related Skills and Experience
?Bachelor?s degree in business administration, marketing or related discipline, MBA is highly desired
?Minimum of 8+ years of experience in developing and motivating marketing teams with a passionate, energetic and enthusiastic leadership style
?Experience in HR Technology/HR Services/HR Consulting highly preferred
?Experience in Venture backed Start-ups a big plus
?Demonstrated ability to partner with Sales to create effective marketing programs to support sales revenue targets. Experience with tools like Marketo, Eloqua very important
?Experience in corporate marketing to Fortune 1000 companies, with at least 5 years in business-to-business (B2B) marketing
?Demonstrated experience managing agency and vendor relationships to target goals
?Proven experience strategizing, organizing, hosting, and managing on-site corporate events including: press tours, industry analyst forums, round table discussion groups
?Exceptional verbal, written and executive-level presentation skills, professional, polished business acumen, and diplomacy skills
?Experience in effectively leveraging social media
?Outstanding ability to work with people at all levels of the organization to accomplish company objectives
?A self-starter who has initiative and is a quick study who has the ability to thrive in an environment responsive to and inspired by new ideas
?A ?hands on? approach to things and a ?can do? attitude is what we are looking for.
