Job summary:
The Director of Marketing is responsible for growing the marketing efforts of the company for both in-bound and out-bound marketing activities, including but not limited to: primary and secondary marketing research, strategy, brand management, SEO, email marketing, content creation, social media, direct marketing, and online advertising. The objective is to drive the Company's branding and marketing efforts to become a leader in its chosen markets and achieve its revenue goals.
Minimum Position Requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree in marketing related subjects
2.Previous marketing experience
3.Understanding of inbound and outbound marketing
4.Desire to grow with the company and become a Vice President of Marketing
5.Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with managers
6.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7.Very outgoing with the ability to present to a large audience
8.Excellent organizational, management and team-building skills
9.Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability
10.Excellent relationship-building skills and rapport building
11.Occasional traveling for fundraising and product presentations
Position Preference:
1.Graduate degree in marketing

After feeling the universal pain of rigorous exam preparation demanded throughout their lives, they collaborated with other students and professionals to create a solution for other students that struggle with memorization and information mastery.
Ron Robertson and Adeel Yang founded the company in July 2011. The web-based learning application delivers interactive pictorial mnemonics for the most difficult and most frequently tested topics throughout medical education. Employing neuroscience research and scientific evidence of the effectiveness of audio-visual memory, picmonic translates complex medical terminology into original illustrations and stories to make concepts easier to digest and markedly more memorable. The software application was designed with multiple learners in mind. While the methodology is visually driven, audio instructions, textual summaries, and collaborative discussion boards accompany each picmonic topic to cater to various learning styles.
Picmonic's initial customer response has been overwhelming. A preliminary pilot study yielded results demonstrating that students studying with Picmonic improved long term memory retention by 162 percent. Students exposed to the beta product not only responded positively, but requested extended access, claiming they could already feel the long-term advantages and applicability.
