Position Summary
NameMedia is looking for a dynamic Director of Marketing to lead the marketing effort for the company?s product and services. This person will be motivated, creative and results orientated and will enjoy having a hands-on role in developing the strategy and driving the execution of all aspects of a world-class marketing organization?from driving customer leads through innovative SEO, SEM, email and social media, to developing presentations and collateral that support the company?s business development program.
The successful candidate will work across the organization, including sales, technology, product management, business development and senior management to deliver a marketing program that propels the company?s growth.

Principle Accountabilities
1. Create, implement and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will positively contribute to the company?s growth and success.
2. Successfully manage both the long-term marketing strategy and the hands-on execution of the day-to-day marketing activities.
3. Design and produce world-class customer communications, including presentations, collateral, customer emails, newsletters, webinars, etc.
4. Build a customer acquisition program of high efficacy that includes SEO, SEM, social media, direct marketing, and any other channel.
5. Ensure articulation of company?s image and position, and be an advocate for messaging consistency across the company.
6. Coordinate media interest in the company and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
7. Ensure that the company regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinate and oversee this activity. Monitor trends.
8. Create a department budget based on a solid return on investment and operate within budgeted goals.
9. Create a metrics-based system for determining effectiveness and progress of marketing programs.
10. Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, and develop those working in the marketing department.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities to meet organizational objectives.
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
Experience developing and managing budgets.
Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, creating presentations and negotiating with media.
Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
Computer literacy in word processing, data base management and page layout.
Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communications, and presentation skills
Experience in hiring, managing, coaching and developing a staff with emphasis on teamwork and teambuilding.
Excellent judgment, strategic thinker, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and attention to detail.
