Our clients are the largest brand advertisers in the world and they rely on TubeMogul to help them navigate the complex landscape of digital video. The Director of Media Accounts, East will lead our East Coast Operations team and will work closely with our clients and internal teams to grow and cultivate client portfolios and relationships.
We are looking for an expert leader that knows exactly what it takes to win in the competitive world of digital video advertising. This role is extremely fast-paced with non-stop client requests and requires excellent business judgment and rapid decision-making.

Oversee regional client portfolio totaling approximately $5-10 MM annually
Grow client portfolio through opportunity identification, including appropriate up sell or cross sell
Cultivate/ owns senior client relationships
Act as senior level contact for key client relationships
Collaborate with senior level TubeMogul management
Be a key contributor and participant in sales process for critical deals
Create supporting slides for sales presentations
Be seen as a respected leader and authoritative figure from the broader team
Become knowledgeable on all aspects of the TubeMogul business (platform, inventory sources, etc)
Develop resource allocation plans, ensure staffing levels are appropriate across clients
Recruit, coach, mentor, and train regional team
Manage the performance review process for the regional team
Able to recognize cross capabilities/organizations for incremental client impact
Oversee and approve RFI/RFPs and set general strategy for pricing in region
Represent TubeMogul at conferences through booth duty, roundtables, and presentations
Able to explore and recognize the upstream and downstream effects from decisions across clients and teams
Able to identify/communicate potential and real client risks
5-7 years of experience in ad operations, preferably with an agency or network focused on digital video
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex campaign requirements into media proposal that win at scale
Deep understanding of brand marketing and how brands use various digital advertising mediums to convey their messages to specific audiences
Media math expertise
Outstanding leadership qualities including the ability to motivate teams and influence others
Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
3+ years of leading and managing an ad operations team
RTB or programmatic buying
Understanding of ROI and basic marketing concepts
Successful startup experience
