Avid Radiopharmaceuticals, Inc. (Avid RP), an Eli Lilly company, is an emerging molecular imaging company developing novel PET imaging agents with the potential to aid in diagnosis, treatment selection and therapeutic monitoring of serious diseases including Alzheimer?s disease, Parkinson?s disease and diabetes. Avid RP is seeking a talented individual for the position of Director of Medical Imaging. The successful candidate will occupy a key leadership role for pre-launch and launch activities of the PET amyloid imaging agent, Amyvid, and will build and lead a team of medical imaging professionals responsible for interaction with customers and imaging researchers.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:
?Build train and supervise a medical imaging team for both development and customer needs
?Lead the medical imaging team in day-to-day decisions
?Direct community physician training efforts for Amyvid interpretation
?Lead medical imaging group in providing excellent and responsive medical information support for the community regarding investigational and commercial products
?Interface with scientific and educational organizations involved in clinical imaging
?Assist in developing, reviewing and approving Phase 1-3 and post-market clinical imaging studies
?Assist in preparing and finalizing clinical study reports and manuscripts for publication

Professional Requirements:
?Extensive knowledge of PET imaging, analysis and clinical interpretation
?Proven analytical and problem solving skills
?Excellent communication, listening, writing and interpersonal skills
?Demonstrated learning agility, critical thinking and negotiation skills
?Good matrix team leadership skills.
?Effective delegation skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
?MD or DO from accredited US or foreign medical school with three or more years of postgraduate medical training
?Board certified in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine strongly preferred
?Experience in clinical research preferred
Other Information:
?Overnight travel and attendance at educational programs will be required and is estimated at 20%
