The Director of Operations is a service-oriented leader who manages a talented team of operations managers and specialists. He or she is highly organized and can manage a diverse array of operational teams in domestic and international locations. This leader ensures exceptional member experiences and builds relations with affluent clientele worldwide. The position requires an extensive knowledge of and proven track record in luxury hotel and resort operations, residential property management, people leadership, and fiscal management.
Job Requirements:
Lead, train and inspire Inspirato?s team of Operations Managers as well as destination managers, destination concierges, destination planners, and independent contractors.
Document, roll out, train and manage to Inspirato?s brand standards and standard operating procedures
Create and manage property- and destination-level operating budgets
Negotiate, govern, and re-negotiate contracts and agreements with 3rd party affiliates and vendors
Manage special projects and assignments requested or delegated by senior management
Liaise between the company and residential owners, hotel management and resort partners
Ensure consistency in the field with exceptional service delivery, safety, security, and property management and maintenance
Plan strategically to anticipate staff and member needs to achieve the high levels of member satisfaction
Recommend and negotiate resort amenity agreements and oversee member events
Rotate within the operations ?manager on duty? system
Lead team meetings and training sessions for Denver and worldwide destination staff
Approve destination billing, including residential, member folios, operational funding and expense reports
Desired Factors or Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree required, preferably in hospitality management or business administration
Luxury hospitality management and property management experience
Honest, respectful, trustworthy, dependable, detail-oriented and fun
Proven track record of budget management and financial control
Able to multitask, delegate and lead by example in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
Able to work long hours, be on call weekends and holidays, on occasion, and travel approximately 25%
Solid negotiating skills and ability to design favorable partner property agreements
Proficient with new technology
Foreign language skills, especially Spanish, Italian, or French, are a plus
