Director of Operations Activate Networks

Position Description

Activate Networks, Inc. seeks a Director of Operations for its Organizational Network Analytic (ONA) business unit. Organizational Network Analytics is a set of graphical methods and statistics that reveal the hidden connections among employees that are important for sharing information, decision-making, and innovation. The company?s product combines a web-based survey tool, social network analysis and network visualization allowing large organizations to assess networks by mapping and analyzing relationships among people, teams, departments, and divisions. Customers utilize our social network analysis to map and measure the normally invisible relationships between people, providing an organizational "X-ray" for use by executives to reduce costs, improve efficiency and spur innovation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following areas and will be expected to provide an immediate contribution:

Project management responsible for coordination of ONA web/cloud-based applications
Product management and marketing of ONA Software as Service (SaaS) applications including defining and executing marketing plans and programs in conjunction with the corporate VP of Marketing
Support ONA?s efforts to build a research consortium of leading corporations, government agencies and educational institutions to help organizations assess and improve the way their teams work and collaborate through organizational network analytics.

The position requires:

Solid customer-facing skills and the ability to manage customers toward a shared success. Strong consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills. Well-organized with attention to detail.
Effective handling of multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously. You must be a self starter, comfortable and effective working independently and often virtually in a fast paced high growth environment.
Support of corporate marketing function, e.g., webinars, lead generation campaigns, trade show participation, and other marketing activities in order to promote awareness of ONA and generate leads.
Some technical familiarity and ability to oversee contracted software development on an occasional basis.
Availability to travel on an as needed basis (up to 20%).
