Benefit Administration

The Director of Participant Experience will wear several hats within Empyrean. First and foremost, this individual will work with Empyrean?s sales organization to better communicate Empyrean?s web-based employee service capability and strategy. Thus, the individual applying for this position must possess superlative communication skills. This person will also work with sales leadership, senior management and IT to affect the creation of future capability, features and functionality. Thus, the individual applying for this position must be a team player with the ability to positively contribute in meeting and/or exceeding team and organizational goals. Other management responsibilities might exist that are yet unidentified.


To fulfill this role, the Director of Participant Experience must:

? Understand human resources, healthcare and the employer/employee dynamic;
? Be a self-starting, achievement oriented individual who can actively listen to clients, identify needs and match client needs to Empyrean capabilities;
? Possess high levels of experience with health and welfare benefits administration; expressly benefit delivery technology;
? Have exemplary communication skills;
? Have a passion for human resources and technology;
? Have a high level of energy and productivity; and
? Be team oriented while possessing effective leadership skills;

Qualifications

? College degree;
? 5 or more years of relevant experience, preferably with a current provider of health and welfare administration services or a corporate benefits department;
? A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel and Internet Explorer;
? Advanced verbal communication skills;
? The ability be creative versus requiring direction;
? Comfortable making presentations to large groups of senior managers in major corporations; and
? Open to 25% travel or more during the year.
