To meet the growing demand of partnerships, FirstFuel is looking for a Sales Leader to manage and optimize our partner relationships and develop new alliances across North America.
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and self-motivated candidate who is extremely smart, technologically astute and has the sales leadership skills to manage a complex partner eco-system with the ?do-whatever-it-takes? attitude to assist the field sales team win new business. The candidate will also be strong at developing a team environment and thrives on collaborating with his peers to further develop our existing and new partner relationships.
Description of Ideal Candidate:
More than 5 years experience in the energy efficiency and/or enterprise application software space; an MBA is a plus.
Experience working with Utilities, specifically in the Energy Efficiency space.
Proven track record of success achieving and exceeding quota/goals.
Fast Learner: Quickly get up to speed and develop existing partnerships that are in place today while building new partnerships for the company. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Energy Efficiency space and the partner eco-system.
Professional Sales Leader: Organized and efficient with the ability to manage a complex partner organization and multiple partners at one time. Ability to build champions and coaches with the goal of closing win/win multi-year partner related deals.
Team Player: Thrives on working in a team environment where everyone has a role in achieving company goals. Able to collaborate effectively on a consistent basis with members of the FirstFuel Leadership Team, including Marketing, Delivery, Engineering, R&D, FI & HR and other Sales Team Members.
Excellent Presentation Skills: Present the FirstFuel Value Proposition to partner executive team, partner energy efficiency program management and staff members in a compelling way. Have command on delivering a product demonstration and other key aspects of the value proposition in a way that differentiates FirstFuel.
Communication & Listening Skills: Strong communications and listening skills both internally with co-workers and externally with prospective partners/clients. Able to command the room with executives and peers and effectively communicate with using email.
Reporting and Writing Skills: Proficient at completing weekly sales report updates in Salesforce.com, organizational charts, account war rooms, partner meeting summaries via email, etc. Strong email and proposal writing skills.
Objectives: MBOs and Quota. Generate bookings and target revenue goals for the calendar year through the partner channels assigned and new partnerships developed.
Market and promote FirstFuel products and services to partners and their sales teams.
Assemble the appropriate resources between FirstFuel and partners to successfully support alliance deals and customers.
Develop systems and processes required for FirstFuel to be successful in managing multiple and changing partner alliances.
Identify and qualify new potential partners; work with leadership team to execute new partnerships.
Manage and qualify deal flow within the broader sales pipeline.
