The Directors of Physician Recruitment are the recruiting leaders for Accelecare?s physician practice group. They are responsible for developing relationships with physicians from various specialty backgrounds, not just ones with wound care experience, and identifying strong candidates for joining Accelecare?s practice group. The Directors will manage a pipeline of physician recruitment candidates, both of practicing physicians and residents, and will work closely with those candidates to place them in clinical positions across Accelecare?s national network. The Directors market Accelecare?s strong work-life balance, interesting specialty niche, training and educational support, and opportunities available nationwide, identifying physicians from multiple specialties that find Accelecare an appealing place to develop a career. The Directors will focus on achieving quarterly and annual recruitment goals. They will work closely with senior management as well as regional support teams to ensure a timely process for attracting and placing new physicians. The position requires little to no travel, with the Directors focused primarily on recruiting physicians through phone conversations and email communication.
3+ years experience in successfully recruiting physicians from multiple specialty backgrounds, with experience in investor-owned, for profit, healthcare recruitment.
Proven ability to source physician leads through warm and cold calls, email communication, online job placement, database management, and other recruitment tools.
Ability to develop and manage a pipeline of physician leads, both practicing physicians and ones coming out of residency, with a demonstrated history of closing candidates.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professional yet friendly phone and email etiquette. Computer literacy to support the use of online recruitment tools.
Comfort in becoming conversant in the basics of a new clinical discipline in order to answer entry level questions about the practice discipline for physician candidates.
