We've had tremendous success producing and selling our industry-leading project and work management solution, but we need to take it up a notch or two and expand our offering. Of course our world-class dev shop is cranking out mind-boggling features left and right, but we also want to form strategic partnerships and integrations with other cool software platforms to better solve customer needs. This is a high impact, very visible role responsible for ensuring pervasive adoption and high satisfaction of AtTask through the partner community.
Successful candidates will have a solid technical foundation, a proven track record of successfully interfacing with partners and customers, experience driving projects to completion with little direction, an entrepreneurial spirit to build the industry?s best partner programs, and above all a passion for ensuring a top quality partner experience.
We're looking for a unique person to fit this unique role. It's a little bit techie, a little bit legal, a little bit creative, and whole lot of challenge and excitement.
Engage with the potential partners as the lead throughout the evaluation cycle to ensure success
Be an expert in the market landscape
Identify key industry trends and impacts to AtTask
Orchestrate innovative solutions to difficult customer problems
Establish relationships with current partners, potential sales channels, and competitors
Negotiate all technical and business aspects of complex deals and partnerships
Convert conceptual plans into MOUs, SOWs, term sheets, and contracts
Work with legal to draft and execute contracts with partners and vendors
Champion technical integration efforts between AtTask and 3rd parties
Identify, document, and socialize optimal deal structures, financial models, and best practices
Work with product team to determine build vs. buy vs. partner decisions (this position reports to the head of Product)
Engage with newly signed AtTask partners to enable them for success.
Together with our marketing team, design and build an online, interactive, self service partner enablement solution.
Drive high levels of customer and partner satisfaction
10+ years of industry experience in an partner management, business development, or senior engineer role with exposure to multiple technology areas
A history of successfully leading and directing teams through crisis situations
Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies
Working knowledge of project management and strong time management skills
Ability to effectively work in a team environment as well as independently
Excellent communication and presentation skills
"Scary Smart" analytical expertise (SQL and Google Analytics know-how is a plus)
Good technical understanding (do these terms make sense to you?: API, XML, REST, SOAP, WoW, CSS)
Experience in all areas of the software development lifecycle (SaaS highly preferred)
Knowledge of pricing, positioning, product management, product marketing
Overall amazing business savvy (must-have)
Demonstrated success with working on large, complex projects, integrations, deals and/or partnerships
Bachelor Degree required, JD and/or MBA desired
Travel: up to 25% (Primarily North America)
