Position Description
Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions (RTCS), the global leader in cross domain solutions, provides software and services that enable federal and civilian government agencies, 5 Eyes, NATO, and high risk industries such as Financial Services, the ability to share and access information securely across multiple networks (including the most sensitive and classified networks). We are actively recruiting for a Director of Product Development. As the Director of Product Development, you will report directly to the VP of Product Development." This key technical leadership role is responsible for managing and coordinating the resources and processes to deliver software releases of multiple products within a product line." You will be responsible for leading and managing multiple development projects, both tactical and strategic, and your performance will be measured by the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and with high quality." The Director role will consist of direct oversight of the multiple development managers, work closely with Product Management and other organizations to direct the developmental planning for product line based upon business needs, and to drive the products to provide innovative capabilities with the goal of the products being in a leadership position in their respective areas. The Director will participate with other members of the technology community with both Raytheon and externally. You will need to work with other functional groups within RTCS for the planning of development strategies, implementation of development plans, and drive organizational efficiencies consist with company objectives.
