Director of Product Management, Advertising Platform Technorati

At Technorati Media, we are building out a brand new advertising platform to drive our mission to use technology and real time market insights to optimize digital advertising interactions across our expanding high quality publisher network. Reporting directly to the SVP of Product Management, the Director of Product Management, Advertising Platform will own Technorati Media?s ad platform and partner integrations, which will entail:
Defining and being accountable for the goals and success metrics for the Technorati Media Advertising Platform
Building a continuously evolving roadmap for each component of the advertising platform and delivering against it
Prioritizing amongst components and individual features in order to drive to the defined success metrics
Working closely with the CTO, engineering and architecture teams to provide detailed specifications for all components and features of the platform
Defining and being accountable for the goals and success metrics for platform and partner integrations
Working with Business Development to develop a roadmap for exchange and DSP integrations
Owning the implementation of each integration and the business metrics thereafter
Identifying, prioritizing and integrating with other advertising technology partners as appropriate from time to time.
Building and leading a small team of Product Managers to achieve all of the above
Skills and qualifications that may help you be a success in this role include:
7+ years product management experience
At least 4 years in the advertising industry working with technology platforms
Prior success launching several components of a digital advertising platform
Domain expertise in online display advertising and thorough knowledge of the ad technology ecosystem.
Deep understanding of programmatic advertising technology, Real Time Bidding platforms and Data Management Platforms
Able to discuss and take a strong position on industry trends and directions
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence both directly and cross-functionally
Strong analytical abilities and comfort with metrics and data
Proven team leadership and ability to mentor Product Managers
Willingness to challenge the status quo, and the confidence to back yourself with rational discourse.
Comfortable working independently in a small company environment with small teams.
BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience, preferred
