THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Flurry is looking for a Director, PM who will guide, nurture and lead the development of products that empower mobile app developers and marketers to profitably run their business. You will work closely with Engineering, Marketing and Sales ? as well as customers ? to compile product requirements, manage the product roadmap, manage the delivery of product features, and assess impact. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with a fast-paced team, is excited by the challenges of this role, and wants to make his/her mark in this incredibly dynamic market.
The Director of Product Management for AppSpot, Flurry?s Publisher Platform, will focus on building new products and features to help mobile applications maximize their advertising revenue. This person will own the product life cycle from meeting with customers and identifying their needs, through designing the interface and managing the launch and continued success of the live product.
Own the product roadmap and manage priorities related to ad serving, network mediation, real-time-bidded marketplace, yield optimization and reporting for publishers.
Conduct competitive analysis and manage publisher relations to determine market needs.
Define new feature requirements and user interface wireframes for engineering.
Work closely with engineering to ensure timely and appropriate delivery.
Organize and facilitate internal/external communications regarding new product features.
Determine metrics and assess the success of new features.
5+ years as a product manager in software development, 3+ years working for an ad network, an advertising technology firm, or similar.
Experience with ad serving, network mediation, behavioral targeting and yield optimization for publishers is particularly valuable.
Knowledge of the current state of various ad tech offerings, who the key industry partners are, and what features they offer.
Strong understanding of the mobile app space and of Internet/web technologies.
Experience working with an agile engineering team.
Experience with product development life cycle from concept to ship.
Extremely well-organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities with dexterity.
Demonstrable written, verbal and presentation skills.
Technical background with a good mix of business analysis skills.
CS/BS/BA degree required. MBA or advanced degree desired.
