Director of Product Management Lotame Solutions
Reporting to the VP of Product Management, the Director of Product Management is responsible for managing different product lines, increasing profitability of existing product lines and creating new products based on market evolution and customer demands. Requires very strong communications and persuasion skills, along an in depth and up to date knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem. The candidate will be responsible for managing different product lines, and he/she will mentor product managers and interact with clients and market to understand needs and convert them into actionable products. The Director of Product Management will also be responsible for increasing the profitability of existing product lines by working closely with product marketing, sales and other client facing teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing different product lines, increasing profitability of existing product lines and creating new products based on market evolution and customer demands;
Identify new product ideas and design the product roadmap based on market direction and customer needs;
Identify and execute on strategic product investments by working closely with senior management;
Monitor product development and work closely with product managers, engineering and client facing teams to ensure product development is on track and final outcome addresses customer needs;
Analyze competitive product offerings and come up with differentiators and competitive positioning;
Communicate product roadmap, adoption and profitability to various business teams on a regular basis;
Mentor product managers and work with them to design and execute on the go to market strategy;
Provide product and marketplace expertise to support prospective sales by addressing prospect needs around product capabilities, customization requests, and use cases;
Work closely with product managers, product marketing and corporate marketing to create collateral that accurately represents the value of new products and product extensions.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience managing development of digital products relating to online media advertising;
Master of Business Administration plus a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely-related subject.
In depth and up to date knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, key stakeholders and monetization metrics;
Very strong communications and persuasion skills, including the ability to convincingly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical managers;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences;
Knowledge of the following technologies:
Hadoop, Platfora, HIVE
Entity Extraction using TF-IDF
Natural Language Processing - Coreference Resolution, Named Entity
Recognition, Part of Speech tagging, Relationship Extraction using BBC ontology
SaaS - EC2 deployments, Platform scalability
