Then become our Director of Product Management and oversee ebrary?s content and publishing tools from end-to-end.
The Director of Product Management, Content Systems maintains end-to-end oversight for ebrary Content and Publisher tools, managing functional requirements, technical development, feature iteration and ongoing maintenance. Working in an Agile environment, you will be the primary product owner ensuring consistent and scalable implementation of the CMS.
Some of the things that you will be doing:
Master Manager: Migrate our current content management workflow to a new CMS platform; manage the resources associated and maintain the system after the migration
Feature Hunter and Explorer: Lead discovery and requirements definition for new CMS features in collaboration with the editorial and development teams
Improvement Driver: Define and drive incremental CMS roadmap, product backlog, and iteration cycle to insure high quality presentation of ebrary content across all digital platforms
Strategic Thinker: Define, develop and execute the strategy and roadmap to expand content management functionality into products and services that can be used by ebrary?s publisher partners
Product Spec Pro: Create detailed product specifications using written requirements, business rules, process flows and use cases; incorporate user experience generated deliverables such as prototypes, wireframes and design and copy documents
Keeps Eye on the Prize: Accountable for the financial impact and end user experience of the CMS and publisher products, using analysis to measure the results of feature deployments to quantify the business benefit/impact, and identify further business opportunities
What you?ll have experience doing:
Detailed knowledge and experience with Web Content Management systems and applying these systems to solve business publishing needs
Bachelors? degree or higher in related field, plus at least 7 years of experience as a Product Manager, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated ability to create effective product requirements documents, use cases, and implementation plans is essential
Demonstrated history of owning the delivery of complex projects from concept to production
Experience with Agile or Scrum development methods
