Overview:
Teradici is seeking an intelligent, technical, hardworking individual to join its team as a Director of Product Management, Enterprise Software. Teradici product management directors have responsibility to define and drive their solution portfolios through the complete product life cycle, and are encouraged to take a broader role in defining and building the business represented by the products in their portfolios, and their ecosystem.
The Director of Product Management, Enterprise Software is responsible for defining and delivering Teradici?s Enterprise Software product portfolio for cloud-delivered desktops and application delivery. This individual will be responsible for every phase of the software product lifecycle, including market requirements, positioning and product strategy, competitive analysis, pricing, distribution strategy, managing documentation, release, and delivery.
Product Directors work not only with the development team, but also spend a great deal of time working with sales, implementation team members, and customers to ensure that all needs are being met and that Teradici is continuing to lead the industry with its solution suite.
This position requires an individual that can work at both the strategic and tactical levels of product management, has experience in building and delivering an enterprise software solution portfolio, and can identify and develop an ecosystem of key partners.
Responsibilities:
Establish and define requirements for both new and existing products, and contribute to the overall vision and direction of the Teradici Enterprise Software product portfolio.
Collaborate with numerous stakeholders (most notably customers, sales, and development) in defining the product priorities within the product roadmap, which consists of a balance of new capabilities, enhancements to existing features, and defect fixes.
Understand and characterize customer use cases as they pertain to software desktop virtualization and management solutions, and work with product development and other product managers to translate these business priorities into clearly communicated product requirements for roadmap and portfolio planning.
Manage enterprise software product portfolio definition, roadmap planning, feature funnel management, go to market strategies and tactics, schedule management, new feature analysis and alignment of product solutions to customer requirements.
Provide detailed guidance to engineering and QA resources, as well as functional and technical documentation to ensure the right product gets delivered with each release.
Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning.
Develop pricing and packaging strategies.
Work extensively with cross functional groups from Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales and Support while establishing and maintaining relationships with key enterprise partners and customers.
Work closely with the sales team to develop sales tools and training ? both for Teradici and ecosystem partners.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related technical degree, MBA preferred
5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Software Product Manager or Senior Product Manager
Track record and experience of marketing enterprise-class software
Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of all aspects of complete product bundles
Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences
Domain experience in remote and cloud based enterprise software solutions
Experience in working with Tier 1 network and service provider, and enterprise software OEMs and enterprise customers
Experience in complete product life cycle management
Experience in defining and delivering enterprise software solutions for Microsoft Windows Server, Oracle, and Red Hat environments
