We need an exceptional Product Management leader to own product management and strategy, and to lead a team of eager and amazing PM?s to deeply understand the needs and demands of our customers, and to design outstanding solutions that become foundational to their success.
Essential for this role?you'll need to be an industry-shaper, with experience leading and growing a team of awesome PM?s, a proven ability to create unmatched software solutions for an IT audience, and a passion for helping businesses succeed beyond their expectations.
Responsibilities
You'll own the company?s product roadmaps, and you'll create a winning vision for these areas as well as a can't-miss strategy to achieve that vision. You will lead PMs to create feature backlogs and prioritize product investments by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment
Manage and coach a team of Product Managers, helping to grow their skills and maximize their impact. Coach and lead the PM team to create user stories and designs that lead to remarkable products
Deeply understand the needs and demands of Idera?s customer base and create the product strategy to win in these segments
Collaborate with Development, QE and Doc to deliver game-changing products to our customers
Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Support to successfully rollout our products and ensure a great end-to-end customer experience
Collaborate with executive management for input and alignment to the vision and roadmap
Be a thought leader within and beyond Idera?s products, experiences, and technology
Required Experience
Extensive software product management experience, preferably in creating applications for IT professionals
Experience with global development teams using Agile
8+ years of software Product Management experience
Thorough understanding of PM skills, processes, and best practices, and ability to teach to others. Pragmatic Marketing certification is a plus.
5+ years of experience managing software Product Managers. Proven ability to manage and grow a high-performance team.
Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver unparalleled solutions. A track record for building products with exceptional user experience.
Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills. Ability to create a winning roadmap to achieve business goals while making difficult tradeoff decisions.
Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
Great intuition and judgment about how to make software that is easy to use while maintaining the wow-factor for users.
Computer Science / Engineering degree or experience is a plus.
