Netuitive has developed the industry?s most comprehensive and open IT Operations Analytics (ITOA) platform. The Director of Product Management for Integrations will lead Netuitive?s product planning for:
The company?s suite of productized integrations to third-party tools (example of third-party tools: VMware vSphere, CA APM, IBM Tivoli, HP Openview, etc.)
The Remote Collector (RC), which is the software foundation for hosting the integrations and aggregating the data for processing by the analytics engine
The Software Development Kit (SDK) that Netuitive technical employees, partners and advanced users utilize to develop adapters to collector data from third party data sources
This individual will interface with Netuitive?s customers, technology partners, as well as internal Netuitive departments to manage the lifecycle of the integrations. This process will include gathering requirements, prioritizing based on business potential, providing specifications to Netuitive?s engineering organization, and subsequently delivering and maintaining resulting integration products.
The responsibilities include developing and maintaining a program intended to train and certify the skills for SDK (described above) users, as well as certify the resulting integrations.
The responsibilities also include interfacing with the company?s partners (whose monitoring solutions Netuitive?s integrations collect data from) to manage Netuitive?s membership in their partnership programs, procure development licenses for the integration lab, and recommend new strategic integration partnerships that the company should enter into.
This position will be based at our HQ in Reston, VA and require some travel to visit customers, sales territories, and partners.
Other major responsibilities include:
Own, develop and present the company?s roadmap for its integrations, Remote Collector and SDK to Netuitive?s employees, partners and customers
Support Netuitive?s Professional Services and Sales Engineers who deploy the integrations to support the company?s customers
Visit and meet customers and prospects in coordination with Netuitive?s field organization
Interface with customers to gather and document Requests for Enhancements (RFE)
Lead the cross-departmental effort to prioritize the RFEs based on business priorities
Fully specify RFEs and prepare them for development and testing and hand-off to the engineering organization
Collaborate with Netuitive?s product marketing organization to produce collateral, press release and marketing material related to new releases
Work with Netuitive?s training group to produce and review new training materials
Manage the Beta program required to deliver a Generally Available (GA) product to market
Actively contribute to the improvement of the company?s existing product management processes
Profile and Skill requirements
The ideal candidate must possess an engineering academic background (computer science or electrical engineering)
Extensive experience with systems monitoring and application performance management technologies
Multiple years of software development experience
Understanding mathematical algorithms would be a plus but is not required
Proven effectiveness in small team and start-up company environments
Must possess a balanced blend of strategic thinking and execution ability
Willingness to participate in a culture of hands-on leadership by example (e.g., Ability to install and configure the products that you are responsible for, ability to develop a sample integration using the SDK that you will manage as a product and program)
